Iraq Ministry of Oi to Discuss Maintenance Plans for the Gas Units in the North and South

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Gas Affairs, Mr. Izzat Saber, chaired a meeting to discuss maintenance plans for the gas units in the north and south. The meeting examined the steps that need to be taken in order to conduct general annual maintenance of the joint units in the South Gas and North Gas companies next April, in preparation for the next summer season.

The Undersecretary instructed the concerned companies to take all required measures to meet the needs of the electricity sector and adhere to the planned timings, in addition to providing alternative fuel during the maintenance period so that the supplies of electric power stations are not affected by the shortage of gas fuel.
