The Ministry of Oil announced the total oil exports achieved for the month of February, according to preliminary statistics issued by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO), where the amount of crude oil exports amounted to (99) million (592) thousand and (311) barrels (ninety-nine million). Five hundred and ninety-two thousand three hundred and eleven barrels).
The statistics indicated that the total quantities of crude oil exported for the month of February from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to (98) million (183) thousand (554) barrels, while exports to Jordan were (433) thousand (126) barrels. As for exports to Qayyarah, they amounted to (975) thousand and (631) barrels.
The rate of crude oil exports for the month of February was (3) million (434) thousand (218) (barrels/day), while the export rate from Basra was (3) million (385) thousand (640) (barrels/day) From Jordan, it reached (14) thousand and (935) (barrels/day), and as for Qayyarah, the export rate was (33) thousand and (642) (barrels/day).
It is noteworthy that the Ministry, through its belief in informing the people of its verified export operations, took this monthly measure.
