Targray has appointed Jelle Jongbloed as its Global Head of Environmental Commodities. Equipped with a Master of Arts degree in Geopolitics and Global Economics from the University College Dublin, Jelle brings a wealth of experience to the company following a successful career trajectory in commodity trading.
Prior to joining Targray, Jelle ascended the ranks at ACT Commodities where his roles included commodities trader, derivatives trader, and various managerial positions, culminating in his recent role as Head of Trading. Drawing on his strategic insights and a deep understanding of the regulatory environment, Jelle is adept at navigating the intricate landscapes of global carbon markets and emissions trading schemes. His leadership acumen and expertise make him an invaluable asset to Targray.
Operating out of Rotterdam, Jelle will play a pivotal role in advancing the objectives of the Environmental Commodities division, leading a team of carbon market experts focused on helping organizations achieve emissions reduction targets in markets around the world.
