Side Entry, 2 Piece Split Body, 3 Piece Split Body, Top Entry valves. Delta Ball Valves are manufactured to industry FIRE SAFE standards to ensure safety in the event of fire. If failure of the primary seal occurs, the ball contacts the secondary (metal) sealing surface to provide an emergency positive seal.
Delta Ball Valves are equipped with a Back Seated, BLOWOUT PROOF STEM. The stem is provided with dual pressure seals to provide primary and secondary sealing. A convenient lube fitting is provided for stem journal lubrication.
Delta Ball Valves are suitable for BLOCK AND BLEED service. A body cavity bleed fitting is furnished as standard equipment. This allows the body cavity to be vented or drained while the valve is in service.
Delta Ball Valves are equipped with a SEALANT INJECTION SYSTEM for emergency seat renewal. In the event the primary seals should become worn or damaged, sealant may be introduced into the valve to provide a temporary seal until normal repairs can be made.
Delta Ball Valves are engineered to provide AUTOMATIC INTERNAL RELIEF should the body become over pressured. When in the closed position, extreme pressure is released from the downstream seat into the pipeline, thus protecting the valve from dangerous pressure build up.
Delta Ball Valves are furnished with large, Pre-Drilled MOUNTING PADS to accept most actuators. In most cases no additional bracketing is required.
Delta Ball Valves are engineered and manufactured to MEET THE DEMANDS OF TODAY’S OILFIELD, PIPELINE and AMD PROCESS INDUSTRIES. Available materials of construction include carbon steel and stainless steel. Trim options include carbon steel or stainless steel; nylon or Teflon seat inserts; and Buna –N or Viton seals. All DELTA Ball Valves can be furnished in accordance with NACE MR – 01 – 75 specifications.
Delta Ball Valves are available in sizes 2” through 36” in both Full and Reduced Bore configurations. ANSI Pressure Classes include 150, 300, 600, 900, 1500 and 2500, as well as API 2000, 3000 and 5000 pressure ratings.
