South Oil Company (SOC)

South Oil Company one of the major fundamental formations of Iraqi national oil company (INOC) it's the first nucleus and the basic of national direct investment projects in the seventies where the SOC was subsidiary to national company. SOC classified as first company in Iraq and the eighth in production rating for global oil companies. The company activities were covered an area of geographical limits of their effectiveness (180)th/m² stretching from the Arabic Gulf to Hadeth.

South oil company activities include drilling works, building and expanding production facilities and implementing investment projects also developing new fields in southern Iraq, lay out exporting pipe line, expanding export facilities, infrastructure sites for the company.
