Comstock Resources is a growing independent energy company based in Frisco, Texas, engaged in oil and gas acquisitions, exploration and development. Comstock has a solid record of growth in oil and gas reserves and production driven by both successful acquisitions and by a successful exploration and development program. The oil and natural gas operations are focused in three primary operating areas, the East Texas/North Louisiana, South Texas and West Texas regions. In addition, Comstock has properties in Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Much of the historic growth has come from acquisitions of producing oil and gas properties.

Comstock Resources has focus on the Haynesville and Bossier shale exploration development program in East Texas and North Louisiana, Bone Spring and Wolfcamp shale formation in West Texas, Cretaceous Dakota Formation and Eagle Ford in South Texas.
