Sime Darby Engineering

Sime Darby Engineering Sdn. Bhd (SDE), is a subsidiary of Sime Darby Berhad, Malaysia's leading multinational and one of the largest conglomerates in South east Asia. SDE was incorporated on April 27, 1981 under the name of Sime Darby Services Sdn. Bhd. In September 3rd 1983, the name was changed to Sime Sembawang Sdn. Bhd. and subsequently changed to Sime SembCorp Engineering Sdn. Bhd. on February 27th 1999. Sime SembCorp Engineering Sdn. Bhd. was then a joint venture between Sime Darby Berhad and SembCorp Utilities Pte. Ltd of Singapore. Since January 2005, SDE is fully owned by Sime Darby Berhad and known as Sime Darby Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (SDE).

Sime Darby Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (SDE) specializes in the fabrication of all types of offshore and onshore structures and complexes. SDE has a proven record capable to deliver a complete work package which includes Engineering Conceptual and Detailed Design, Procurement, Fabrication, Testing and Pre Commissioning, load-out, Transportation and, Offshore Hook-Up and Commissioning.
