The founders of the E-Mobility-Start-up IO-Dynamics gain a new investor and specialist in the field of energy and mobility transition with con|energy.
After the start-up has already gone through a first round of financing this year, con|energy AG is now also joining as a new investor. Based in Essen and jointly managed by Roman Dudenhausen and Niels Ellwanger, the company invests already in numerous national and international mobility and infrastructure projects.
The Flensburg-based startup IO-Dynamics, founded in 2019 by Johann Olsen, Felix Kruse and Nabil Imran, has developed an intelligent charging and energy management system for electrical corporate fleets. The novelty of this solution lies in the use of vehicle data. By processing information such as the charge level, charging power or battery health as well as building and energy data of the company’s location, the software calculates an optimal charging plan for the next 24 hours. Thanks to this, companies can significantly reduce their costs and the administrative effort. After the startup was able to secure seven-figure financing in June, other investors from the energy and mobility industry are now joining in.
Con|energy board Roman Dudenhausen is pleased about the new partnership: “With its fleet management offer, IO-Dynamics addresses one of the most exciting and potential-rich topics of electromobility. With intelligent charging solutions, significant savings can be made here in particular - both in terms of energy and costs.” IO-Dynamics CEO Johann Olsen complements: “Electromobility has arrived, the demand is high, the challenges enormous. We are ready with a strong software solution and we are delighted to have additional partners and investors on our side with our project."
